Would I have loved to have gone to the Caymans with my husband? sure. But the house only held so many people, he couldn't get time off & we the sorority sisters wanted to spend time together. For us it was a week of recreating life in the sorority house (with a much better view).
If you expect honesty and transparency from her, she has every right to think you would give her the same courtesy..
Yea but it's not like he's doing it on purpose or to hurt you. As men we want every woman we are with to think were the best they've ever had and please them. It can be so emasculating for a guy when you go through a stage like that. He probably feels worse than you..

such a keeper! she made my day.

You are not being played as he didn't promise you anything, you are just talking. Mislead YES..he knows you are interested and wants you as plan B or an option..
he came last weekend, it was so good to see him, and trust me, we're on that kind of friendship where i can NEVER envision what happened would have happened..more so from his side..like i said i used to have strong feelings for him once.
